Melissa - I recently bought a small plastic crystal ball. It doesn't work well no matter how hard I try. Do I need a real crystal ball or a larger crystal ball or am I doing something wrong?
J B T - A crystal ball is a matter of personal preference. Some people use a small clear marble as a xtal ball or even a black marble. A large crystal ball provides a wider field of vision, thereby making it easier to scry. Especially people with weak eyes. Otherwise all crystal balls are basically equal.
When you buy a crystal ball it is rather unworkable. The crystal ball has been handled by many people and perhaps even exhibited in a display case (keeping a crystal ball in the light is BAD). The crystal ball is a one person object. It needs to pick up only your 'vibes'. It is advisable to keep your ball near you when you sleep in the beginning.
All crystal balls need care and storage. Basically, keep your crystal ball clean, do not let anybody else touch your crystal ball, store crystal balls wrapped in a dark cloth, do not store it in an area near a lot of sentimental items or in the light.
Jill - I keep falling into the crystal ball and breaking my concentration. What am I doing wrong?
J B T -I assume you mean mentally falling. I think you are very fortunate to have this trait. You must just learn to let go. You will find yourself seeing other places as if you are hovering in spirit. These places in a crystal ball can be in the past, present or future. You can be very successful at scrying for others.
